Microsoft 365 - Introducing new Microsoft Teams client
The new Teams desktop client for Windows has been reimagined from the ground up with performance in mind, providing a faster, simpler, and more flexible experience. The new Teams client installs and loads faster, letting you launch the app and join meetings more quickly, giving you more time to focus on tasks.
The new Teams ensures more efficient use of device resources. You can lower memory and disk usage with a Teams app optimized for your device. Whether you have users on multiple accounts or tenants, the new Teams can help eliminate the silos and bring them together in one place, giving them more extensibility and scale.
How can you switch to the new version
Starting on November 13th, 2023, you may have the ability to try the new version of Teams.

How to switch back to the Classic version of Teams
For Windows users
If you'd like to switch back to classic Teams, it's easy to toggle back and forth. To switch back to the classic Teams, turn off the New Teams toggle under the three-dot ellipsis menu on newer versions of Teams.

Note: If you are in a meeting or call while turning off the toggle, a notification will ask you to confirm the switch. Your call or meeting will be disconnected. When you switch between the new and classic Teams, the version you’re currently using will close and the one you’re switching to will automatically open and become your default version.
For MacOS users
After you successfully switched to new Teams, if you can't find the toggle on the top left to switch between new Teams and Microsoft Teams (work or school), you can start the version you want by searching in Launchpad for Teams.
If you experience issues with your headset
Make sure you are using the latest firmware for your headset model:
