The "Refresh Course Details" feature in Realizeit enables instructors to easily update their assignment due dates. Previously, instructors had to contact their instructional designers to synchronize assignment due dates if any changes were made in Webcourses.

Why should I use this tool?

If due dates are changed during the semester and instructors neglect to update the course details, the grades of assignments may not be sent back on the correct date. To ensure accurate grade submissions and avoid confusion, it is essential to utilize the "Refresh Course Details" feature in Realizeit or contact your PAL instructional designer.

How do I access the 'Refresh Course Details' tool?

The feature is available in the Instructor Toolbox.  Follow these steps to navigate to the instructor toolbox and access this feature:

1. Open one PAL Assignment in Webcourses. From there it will load one chapter or one module inside Realizeit.

2. Go to the Course Homepage in Realizeit. Make sure you can see all Modules when trying to open the Instructor Toolbox. You will not be able to access the feature unless you are on the homepage. (Screenshot below)

3. Open the Instructor Toolbox. This can be accessed in the top right corner of the instructor course view by selecting “Toolbox”.

4. Navigate to the bottom of the drop-down selection while ‘’Toolbox” is selected. As of May 2023, the Refresh course details option is at the bottom of the screen. (Screenshot below)
