Signing In to Webcourses

Webcourses uses UCF's Single Sign On (SSO) authentication services and challenges all users with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). It is important to sign in using your NID and NID password since the service allows you to sign in with multiple accounts (e.g., your knights email account). This guide will demonstrate how to sign in, as well as what to do if you receive one of the common notification messages.
There are multiple ways to sign into webcourses, but the most common way is to:
What if you receive an error in red text stating 'Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'University of Central Florida'...
This error means you have attempted to access Webcourses with a previously signed in user account that is not your NID (e.g., your Knights email account). Only your NID and not your Knights email account has access to Webcourses.

Resolution: Sign in with your NID@ucf.edu
What if you receive an error in that states "WebCourses - Sorry, but we're having trouble signing you in. AADSTS50105…"
This error means you have attempted to access Webcourses with a previously signed in user account that is not your NID (e.g., your Knights email account). Only your NID and not your Knights email account has access to Webcourses.

Resolution: Click your browsers "back" button and Sign in with your NID@ucf.edu

You can pick which account to sign into applications depending on the access. Always use your NID for Webcourses:
Web browser keeps trying to automatically log in with a different account than your NID
Sometimes the web browser will try to automatically log in with a different account than one's NID. This is usually due to browser caching prior authenticated sessions, being logged in as a different account in the same web browser (example being logged into Knights email before accessing Webcourses), or due to how the account holder's web browser profile is configured.
