What is Email Forwarding?
Email forwarding refers to the operation of re-sending an email message delivered to one email address to one or more different email addresses. Email auto-forwarding automatically directs incoming messages to alternate email addresses.
Does UCF Allow Auto-Forwarding of Emails?
In accordance with University of Central Florida electronic mail policy, only to the following approved UCF-affiliated domains:
- *.UCF.edu (i.e., @bus.ucf.edu, @math.ucf.edu, etc.)
- *.Knights.edu
Forwarding university business related email to a non-university personal email account is not permitted in order to prevent potentially sensitive university information from being sent to external, non-secure email systems.
Note: Auto-forwarded emails configured to deliver-to non-approved domains will, without notification, not be delivered.
