Connect to UCF_Guest Network – Android


This article will help you connect your Android device to the UCF_Guest Wireless network on Main Campus, Health Sciences, and Rosen College of Hospitality. Unfortunately, this network is not available in student housing spaces.

 

Android Setup Instructions:

 

  1. From the Quick Settings menu (Home Screen Drop-Down), select the Wireless icon to show available networks:

 

           2. From the list of available networks, select UCF_Guest:

         

             3. Select the pop-up bubble that appears to sign into the Wi-Fi network:

 

             4. The Guest Wi-Fi Portal will appear. Select Register Here for Guest Access:

Note: If you are a user registered to the Guest network on Downtown Campus (DTCampus_Guest), you can also access the UCF_Guest network before your registration expires. Sign in with those credentials, and you will have Internet access.

 

 

            5. Enter the required information in their appropriate fields, such as your Name, Email Address, and Phone Number:

 

6. Select your SMS Provider using the Drop-Down List:

          7. Select the Register Button


            8. You will be sent an email and an SMS message containing your username and password. The email may appear under your

                Spam/Junk  folder:


             9. Please enter the Username and Password in their appropriate fields. Proceed by clicking on the Sign On button 

 

           10. Accept the Terms and Conditions

              11. Press Continue to gain access to the UCF_Guest network:

Note: Access to the UCF_Guest Wireless network will be available until 5:00 AM EST. Don't hesitate to contact the UCF IT Support Center at           407-823-5117 or visit the Student Support Desk in Technology Commons or Classroom Building I on the Orlando Campus.
