AudioCodes - Device Limit reached in Intune


Due to improper sign-outs of AudioCodes phone devices, duplication of a single device can consume the device limit of 15 to a user. Once this occurs, a user may not be able to sign into anymore devices until the number of devices are reduced.


1. The image on the phone will inform a user if they have reached their device limit in Intune after attempting to sign into an AudioCodes phone device.



2. Open a browser on a computer and log into https://portal.manage.microsoft.com



3. Select the navigation button at the top left and then select Devices.



4. The dashboard will show the devices currently registered to the user. The image shown below, the user has reached their limit and can no longer register anymore devices.



5. In the instance of replication of the same AudioCodes device you will see multiple "NID_Android_<timestamp> devices". Click on the one that has the oldest date.



6. Click on Remove at the top of the screen.



7. After removing a device, the total number of devices on the dashboard will decrease.



8. The user may now attempt to log into the AudioCodes device. After a successful login, the current device should now be listed on the devices dashboard in the portal.
