The maintenance performed on the UCF Federated Identity authentication system triggered Microsoft applications such as Outlook, oneDrive, and Teams will require you to reauthenticate by entering your NID, NID password, and respond to a Duo MFA prompt. All devices (e.g., workstations, mobile devices, desk phones, etc.) that run these applications will request authenticating again.
What do I need to do if I am having trouble signing into a device or workstation?
- Ensure you use your NID and NID password to sign in. Visit https://mynid.ucf.edu to reset your password.
- Sign out of all Microsoft applications on the device or workstation, restart the device or workstation, and sign back in using your NID, NID password, and responding to the Duo MFA prompt.
- Note: Your NID may be signed into the following applications: Teams, Office products such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneNote for Windows 10, oneDrive, Edge browser, etc.
What do I need to do if I am having trouble signing into a Teams enabled Audiocodes desk phone?
- Restart the Audiocodes desk phone (some phones require power cycling (e.g., turning them off and on again)).

- If your Audiocodes phone is stuck on the MFA login, enter your username, which is your NID, without '@ucf.edu' and retry.
- Additional Senarios:
- Q: Audiocodes phone won't display the login code for microsoft.com/devicelogin
- Restart the phone by unplugging the phone from the internet or holding down the HOLD button for 60-90 seconds, which will do a factory reset.
- Q: The phone is stuck in the reboot cycle.
- Option 1) Press the HOLD button for 60-90 seconds to do a factory reset.
- Option 2) Press the OK + MENU Keys simultaneously. While Keeping them pressed, unplug the ethernet cable. Plug the LAN cable back into the phone while pressing the OK + MENU keys. After 5-10 seconds, release the OK+MENU keys. The phone will go through a 3-5 minute factory reset.
