Adobe "Update Required" Issue


If you notice an “update required” notice when trying to use Adobe Acrobat DC or the Creative Cloud suite, see below on how to resolve this issue and continue to use your Adobe products.

 

Issue:

You receive an error that specifically reads "Your browser or Operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system." The dialog box looks like this:

 

 

Resolution:

We have seen this issue persist even after Windows updates are applied. The likely cause of this as we discovered and as suggested by Adobe  (Update your operating system to work with Adobe apps) is that the Creative Cloud Desktop application is out of date.

 

To resolve:

Open the Creative Cloud App, Select "Help" then "Check for updates", Allow the updates to run, then then restart the PC. See screenshots below:
