Members of the UCF community can use the online version of Microsoft Office Home to open and edit Microsoft documents from anywhere and quickly access their most worked on documents. Follow the instructions below sign in a learn more about this new feature.
To access Microsoft Home, navigate to https://www.office.com and sign in using your UCF email.
Afterwards enter your NID and NID Password in the UCF Federated Identity Page.
Finally select Yes when asked to stay sign in.
NOTE: If using a shared device outside of UCF click NO instead.
Signing into Microsoft Home through a UCF classroom computer or UCF device.
NOTE: Many UCF devices will automatically sign you in when launching applications in your user profile. If they do not auto sign in follow these instructions.
Open the Microsoft Office link located on the home screen.
Sign in using your UCF email.
Afterwards enter your NID and NID Password in the UCF Federated Identity Page.
You may select Yes to keep your account signed in. It is recommended to select NO when using a shared device.
Alternatively, to sign in from your UCF email select the icon in the upper left corner, then select Office 365.
All 3 methods will launch Office 365 and bring you to your account’s homepage shown below.
Box A: This is where the Microsoft Office Applications will be found. Click the icon to open a new file in the selected online application.
Box B: Recommended files (such as recently worked on or frequently worked on) will appear here. After clicking the document of choice, it will immediately open the document online.
Box C: Recently open files will appear here. After clicking on the document to use, it will immediately open online enabling you to start editing right away.
