How to Manually Import a PST File into your Exchange Mailbox


This shows you step-by-step how to self-upload your PST email data to your Office365 email account (@ucf.edu email). Before you being on the steps below, please make sure that your PST file has already been located and is readily accessible.

 

Manual PST Import Process

  1. Within the Outlook client click “File->Open & Export”

  2. Click “Import/Export”



  3. In the Import and Export Wizard select Import from another program or file, then Next.



  4. Select Outlook Data File (.pst), then Next.



  5. Browse and select the PST to import


  6. Select the folder you would like to import to highlight it. Select the option to Include subfolders if necessary. Select the option to Import items into the same folder in. The user’s email address or name should be selected at the bottom of the window to merge email messages, tasks, etc. into the same folders of the current Outlook profile. Select Finish.
