This article will demonstrate the steps necessary to scan a document from a suite copier located at the College of Education and Human Performance. Each of the suite copiers has a folder configured on the File Server that will allow you to retrieve the file easily from the desktop without the need to email the file to yourself or store it on a flash drive (alternative options). You will need to ask to have access to the Scan Folder before you can utilize it. Please contact the UCF IT Support Center or visit https://it.ucf.edu to submit a request for access.

Use the code 63630 to unlock the machine for scanning.
*This code will only scan and does not allow for the use of copy or printing functions.

Press the template button.

[Top right digital button for color copiers]

Choose Public Template Group from the template menu.

Choose the Scan to XXXXX button that corresponds with the Scan Folder that you have been granted access.

Press the Scan button on the screen or press the green “go” button on the copier itself.
