Semester Import Update

Change College of Medicine (COM) Datafile Import Dates

UCF College of Medicine (COM) runs on a different academic schedule. They have a yearly term that must be configured separately in Fusion. Prior to making changes to Fusion, follow the steps below:

  1. Reach out to College of Medicine Registrar's Office.
  2. Request they update their PeopleSoft datafile export process. The file name is _datefile3.txt. Only COM Registrar's office can manage this export process.
  3. Request the new semester dates to update the Fusion datafile import process.
  4. Once the file has been amended and the dates have been acquired, follow the instructions for Semester Import Update to complete the process.

Error RE POS 1.12/1.14 When Installing Fusion

As Microsoft occasionally updates its POS software, some Fusion workstations may be missing the latest KB patch to POS 1.14 (for multiple POS devices). An error message appears when an installation fails due to this error:

To resolve:

  1. On the workstation in question, navigate to https://ucfclick.innosoftfusion.com/FusionSetup.aspx
  2. Confirm that the workstation is running POS for .NET 1.14. If not, install the application from the location above.
  3. Run the update to POS for .NET 1.14.
  4. Re-attempt to install Fusion application.
