The “class number” is the unique five-digit identifying number assigned to each course section offered during a particular term. This number distinguishes that course section from all others that term. The class number formally was known as the “key code.” In the myUCF portal at https://my.ucf.edu  The “key code/class number” for each section is listed under the Dates/Times of the Class Schedule Search “Selection Results” screen. Record this number onto your “Registration Worksheet” as you design your schedule and enter it into the registration system to enroll in the course.
