Below are instructions on how to clear the browser cache and cookies for supported browsers at UCF, other browser types and versions are not currently supported by the University of Central Florida.
In Mozilla Firefox:
From the browser menu click History.
Select Clear Recent History... -or- Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete on your keyboard (in Windows).
Set "Time Range to clear:" to Everything.
Click the Details down arrow
Verify Cookies and Cache are selected.
When it is done clearing the cookies and cache, restart Firefox. Be sure to close all the Firefox windows that are open before opening the new window.
In Microsoft Internet Explorer 9, 10 and 11:
Click the icon that looks like a gear near the top-right corner of the page.
Hover your pointer over Safety in the list.
Select Delete browsing history… from the list. -or- Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete on your keyboard.
Make sure both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies are selected; you can also select any other data you would like to be cleared.
Click the Delete button.
When it is done processing, restart Internet Explorer.
In Safari 6.0 and above:
From the Safari menu click Preferences
Click on the Privacy tab
To clear all data, click on Remove All Website Data...
To only remove ucf.edu data, click on Details, and locate ucf.edu in the list. Select it then click Remove.
Close Safari and reopen.
In Chrome 35 and above:
Click the menu icon (located in the upper-right corner).
Click Tools. -or- Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete on your keyboard (in Windows).
Click "Clear browsing data".
In the "Obliterate the following items from:" dropdown list, select "the beginning of time".
Select "Empty the cache" or "Cached images and files"
Select "Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data".
Click the "Clear Browsing Data" button.
Restart Chrome. Be sure to close all the Chrome windows that are open before opening the new window.
