The UCF Police Department provides high quality, professional crime prevention, protection, and law enforcement services to maintain and promote safety and security. The department is a full-service agency and employs 60 police officers, stationed on campus 24 hours a day in cars, on bikes, and on foot.

UCF also provides a Student Escort Patrol Service (SEPS) which is a free service of the police department. Seven (7) days a week when classes are in session.
