On the 'Fix Issues' page, you will initially see a list of all of the accessibility barriers found by the scan.
They are automatically sorted by type, so that fixing the same type of issue over and over is the default behavior, as opposed to learning a new type of error and rationale each time you save a change. However, you may choose to filter your list further.
At the top of the Fix Issues page, there is a search and filter area. You may choose to:
The filters you've selected will be highlighted in pill form. If you don't have any filters selected, you won't see any pills next to the search bar. To change whether or not you want the filters' lists to show by default, please go to the Settings Page.
Once you select an issue, the view will change and show you all the tools you'll need to fix the issue. Each issue will involve three steps, identifying the issue listed, determining if it is applicable, and using the tools on the form to fix or mark the issue as reviewed.
When you first click on an issue, you'll be greeted with the name of the issue, the severity of the issue (violation, potential error, or suggestion) and a button to learn more about the accessibility barrier. If there is a UDOIT form in place, you will also see tools for fixing potential errors.
Once you click on the accessibility barrier button, you'll see descriptions about the issue UDOIT has marked for you as an accessibility barrier. Given the information, now you can make an informed decision on whether or not that applies to the page, as seen in the preview.
Now you want to turn your attention to the preview of the page, which will be shown here on the right.
In this case, UDOIT has marked an image as missing alternative text (which is invisible in standard text), which is required for all non-decorative images to be accessible. Thus, we need to go back to the form by clicking the green accessibility button on the left to go back.
Finally, having identified that there's a problem, we want to take a look at certain components of the form.
