Outlook prompting MFA for an OID account


Try these steps if Outlook keeps prompting you MFA:


  1. Quit Outlook and open Microsoft Word. Click on your name in the upper right corner. Click on the ellipsis next to the OID account name, then click sign out.

  1. When prompted, click sign out.

  1. Repeat for all OID accounts that are signed into Microsoft Word.
  2. Reopen Outlook, then, when prompted, enter the OID password in the Federated login window.Graphical user interface, applicationDescription automatically generated
  3. If prompted, uncheck “Allow my organization to manage my device” and click “No, sign into this app only”
