Microsoft Teams not only manages call settings but also offers call forwarding, call groups, and answering rules for simultaneous ring for internal calls only on Microsoft Teams Calling. You cannot forward to cell phones, UCF Cisco deskphones or non-UCF phone numbers
If you need help forwarding calls to Cisco deskphones please submit a Service-Now request to the Unified Communications team.
Call Forwarding
Call forwarding to a person, or a group, redirects a call to the number selected on your Settings. Teams gives the option to set up call forwarding to one person or to a group with another UCF number on Microsoft Teams Calling.
Forward to Voicemail
- Click on your profile picture and then Settings > Calls.
- Under Call answering rules, select the option Forward My Calls.
- Next to Forward to, select the option of Voicemail.

You can also find these settings (whenever you're in the Calls area) by selecting Don't forward (or Forward to voicemail, etc.) in the lower-left of Teams.
Forward to other number
- Click on your profile picture and then Settings > Calls.
- Under Call answering rules, select the option Forward My Calls.
- Next to Forward to, select the option of New number or contact.
- Type the number or contact to be used.
Note: Forwarding to cell phones, UCF Cisco deskphones or non-UCF Teams Calling phone numbers is not supported.
Forward to call group
- Click on your profile picture and then Settings > Calls.
- Under Call answering rules, select the option Forward My Calls.
- Next to Forward to, select the option of Call Group.
- A dialog box will open to select the people to add to your call group. Type the number or contact to be added.

Simultaneous Ring
With simultaneous ring, incoming calls would ring both you and someone else at the same time. It can ring a specific number or a call group.
Simultaneous Ring - other number
- Click on your profile picture and then Settings > Calls.
- Under Call answering rules, select the option Calls ring me.
- Next to Also ring, select the option of New number or contact.
- Type the number or contact to ring.
Note: Simultaneous Ring to cell phones, UCF Cisco deskphones or non UCF Teams Calling phone numbers is not supported.

Simultaneous Ring - call group
- Click on your profile picture and then Settings > Calls.
- Under Call answering rules, select the option Calls ring me.
- Next to Also ring, select the option of Call Group.
- A dialog box will open to select the people to add to your call group.
- Type the number or contact to be added.
