This article will help you install Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise (formerly Microsoft Office 365)
NOTE:
- These steps can only be completed on devices that have Software Center installed and are managed by Configuration Manager (MECM).
- Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise will uninstall all current Office applications on your system.
- It can take up to an hour for the install to complete. All Office applications will be inaccessible while Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise is installing.
To install Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise, open Software Center
- Open your Windows start menu by clicking the Windows icon on the bottom left of your screen
- Type Software Center in the search bar, this should bring up the search results showing the software center application.
- Select the Software Center result as presented below.
Within the Software Center window there should be a list of applications available for you to install, search for and select the application Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise (x64).
The Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise application page will display with the option to install by clicking the Install button.
Note - If the button reads as “Uninstall” then the application has been previously installed and the window can be closed
Select the Install button
Software Center will now install Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise . When the installation is complete, it will appear as Installed within the Installation status tab.
