How do I get a copy of my UCF permanent academic records?

Under certain circumstances, and as restricted by The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), the Registrar’s Office may provide the student with a copy of the documents contained within his or her permanent file. You must submit to the Registrar’s Office (MH 161), either in person or by fax, a written and signed request defining the documents to be copied. A Registrar’s Office representative will contact you regarding the request’s disposition and if applicable to schedule a pick-up appointment. FERPA regulations require that the written request be signed; therefore, e-mail and telephone requests cannot be honored. For detailed information describing FERPA regulations, consult either the Registrar’s Office web site at http://registrar.ucf.edu or the United States Department of Education Family Compliance Office web site at http://www.ed.gov/offices/OM/fpco/
