If this semester is your first at UCF, then you must contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office or Graduate Studies Office (as appropriate) as soon as possible before the 1st day of classes. That office made the residency determination. You may need to submit additional documents to that office to support your residency claim. Or it may be that the non-resident determination for that term is final. You must understand that under State of Florida regulations, you may not qualify for in-state tuition despite having lived in Florida for 12 months or longer.
If the semester for which you are seeking Florida residency is your second semester or beyond at UCF, then visit the Registrar’s Office to complete and submit a Reclassification Application. The Registrar’s Office will require you to submit supporting documents for review against State of Florida and Board of Education regulations. Reclassification, however, is not guaranteed. Again, you may not qualify for in-state tuition, despite having lived in Florida for 12 months or longer. Consult the Financial Information” chapter of your Undergraduate Catalog for State of Florida requirements and University procedures.
