Keep in mind that it is very difficult to achieve the “perfect” schedule, and somewhat impractical to expect to build one. Use the Class Schedule Search within the myUCF portal at https://my.ucf.edu to identify alternate sections of the courses you have selected.
Registration wait list enables students to get into the classes they want without having to continuously check for possible openings. Wait lists operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so this process ensures that students who enroll sooner have a better chance of getting into a closed course.
Wait lists are only available once the class is full. For high-demand classes, this may be the first day of registration or, for other classes, as late as the last week. Wait lists end on the last date to Drop/Swap classes, which can be found by referencing the current Academic Calendar
If you have not enrolled in at least one course by the close of Registration and Add/Drop avoid the $100 Late Registration Fee by enrolling in the UCF temporary course UCF 1500 before the end of Registration and Add/Drop. You also must pay for the class by the Payment Deadline to avoid the $100 Late Payment Fee. Be certain to drop this course before the close of Late Registration and Add/Drop, which will fully credit your account for UCF 1500. Consult your academic advisor to identify those courses that satisfy major, minor or elective requirements. Refer to the Academic Calendar (http://calendar.ucf.edu/) for Registration and Add/Drop and Late Registration and Add/Drop closing dates.
