What are the transfer admission requirements?

UCF computes a GPA for each institution attended, as well as a cumulative GPA based on all attempted college course work. This computation recognizes a plus/minus grading system, but only recognizes grade forgiveness when it is used as part of an A.A. degree from a Florida public community college/state or Florida public university.

Admission criteria varies based upon the total number of transferable semester hours of college course work you will have completed by the time you enroll at UCF.  Choose a category below for specific admission requirements:

Fewer than 30 transferable semester hours

30 or more, but fewer than 60 transferable semester hours

60 or more transferable semester hours

Shortly following admission, a transfer credit report will be available on myUCF. Our Orientation office will contact you concerning your attendance at a one-day orientation program. At Orientation you will meet with an academic advisor who will review transferred course work and help you plan your class schedule. You will also meet with other transfer students as well as faculty and staff who can assist you as you make this important transition.
