There are four summer terms at UCF. Terms A and B run for six weeks, term C runs for twelve weeks and term D runs for nine weeks. Courses in terms A, C, and D typically begin in May, while courses in term B typically begin in June.

A student entering the State University System with fewer than 60 semester hours of college credit is required to enroll in a minimum of nine semester hours of credit in the summer at a Florida state university.
Please note that at this current point in time, first time in college students are limited to the Summer B Session only for Summer enrollment.
