What is a record "hold" and what do I do about it?


Your records may be placed on “hold” because currently you are under one or more obligations to the University. Certain holds will prevent your registration and your ability to obtain certain University record services (e.g., grades and official transcripts) until you satisfy the conditions required by the office(s) that initiated the hold action. Contact the office that placed the hold (listed on the Student Center Screen immediately. Once you settle the obligation satisfactorily, that office will remove the registration hold.
