Please verify that your Ethernet cable is securely connected to both your computer or device and the data port in the wall jack of your dorm room. Then open a web browser and go to the ResNet website (http://www.resnet.ucf.edu) and click "Register on MyResNet" to register your computer.

To register your computer, you will need the information below:

1. NID and NID password
2. The physical address for the computer
3. Your building, room number and wall jack (left, right, only)
4. The phone number and e-mail address at which you prefer to be contacted

Once the registration is complete, you will need to restart the computer or device to secure the connection.
